CSIR-NET- CSIR-NET is an acronym for Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET). The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers a national exam for students interested in pursuing a career as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Lectureship (LS).
The NTA CSIR UGC NET examination is held twice a year in five subjects: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, and Mathematical Sciences.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet the following fundamental CSIR UGC NET eligibility criteria to participate in the programme: BTech/BE/BPharm/MBBS/BS (4 years) or a BS-MS or MSc degree with at least 55 % must be required. Candidates must be at least 28 years old as of December 1, 2019 in order to be considered for the Junior Research Fellowship programme.
