The UGC (NET) Humanities is conducted by the University Grants Commission. The UGC(NET) Test will determine the eligibility of Indian National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and for appointment of Lecturers in Universities and colleges in the subjects falling in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Application and Electronic Science. The UGC (NET) Humanities Test comprises of 3 papers. UGC conducts NET twice a year i.e. in the month of June and December.
