Autodesk Revit MEP is part of the software portfolio of Autodesk BIM (Building Knowledge Modelling) and is intended for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers working in isolation or as part of a BIM project. From the outset, Revit was intended to allow architects and other construction professionals to design and document a building by creating a three-dimensional parametric model that included geometry as well as non-geometric design and construction details, also known as Building Information Modeling or BIM Modeling.
