The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is a test carried out by the State Government and governed by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for admissions to West Bengal medical and engineering institutes. The WBJEE candidates should be from the Pure Science stream (subjects containing Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology). WBJEE has two different medical and engineering exams and the main difference is that the medical paper comes with the biology paper, while the mathematics paper is available for the engineering test. Thousands of West Bengal students turn up for WBJEE and the numbers are that every year.
