The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a common entrance exam for admission to IIMs & other top B-Schools. To get an insight into how to effectively crack CAT, you can attend Prudence Academy.The IIMs located at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode, etc., other top B-schools and management institutes use the CAT as a part of the admissions prerequisite. CAT basically tests your skills in five broad areas viz. Verbal Ability and Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Skills, Data Interpretation, Analytical and Logical Reasoning. The CAT test is of objective type in nature. The test penalises for wrong answers — every correct answer is awarded one point and every incorrect answer results in a 1/4 point deduction. The CAT is held once in a year in November-December. One must be a graduate with no less than 50% marks or studying in the final year to appear for the test.
