The Civil Services Examination (CSE) is a national competitive examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various central government administrative posts, including the IAS, IFS, IPS, and IRS, among others. With a success rate of 0.1 percent -0.3 percent with more than 9 lakh applicants per year, the examination is the toughest in India. As just 0.03 percent of the total applicants get into the prestigious civil services in India, CSE has the least performance ratio in the world.
