The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a scholarship program in India at the national level that began in 1963 to recognize and develop talented students. In the form of a monthly scholarship for the entire academic career, it honors and encourages promising students by offering financial assistance. This assistance is offered up to the level of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) for the course in Basic Sciences, Social Sciences, and Commerce, while this assistance is granted only until post-graduation for professional courses such as Engineering, Medical, Law & Management. This not only encourages learners to improve their mental level but also allows them to sharpen their minds.
