The second course in the iOS App Development with Swift specialty, iOS App Development Basics, enhances trainee programming skills and applies them to real-world app development projects. This course covers Xcode fundamentals, the Core iOS and Cocoa Touch frameworks, creating simple user interfaces, MVC architecture, and much more.

By the end of this course, trainees will be able to construct a simple App according to given requirements and guidelines, with an emphasis on enabling Apple's components to access sensors such as the camera, microphone, and GPS. This course is currently offered in Swift 2. The staff is aware of Swift 3's release and will update the course accordingly.
