CSIR-NET- The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) is an acronym for Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Eligibility Test. It is a national-level exam administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for students interested in pursuing a career as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Lectureship (LS). Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, and Mathematical Sciences are among the five subjects for which the NTA CSIR UGC NET is held twice a year.
Candidates must meet the following fundamental CSIR UGC NET eligibility criteria: Candidates must have a minimum of 55 percent in a BTech/BE/BPharma/MBBS/BS (4 years)/Integrated BS-MS/MSc degree. Candidates must be at least 28 years old as of December 1, 2019 to apply for JRF.
