Becoming a Probationary Officer(PO) is the first step towards working as a management in the banking business. A PO begins as a trainee officer in the bank's Junior Management Grade Scale (JMGS) and progresses through the ranks to become a General Manager, Executive Director, or even Chairman of the Board. The descriptive paper in the IBPS PO Mains Exam will contain two question types: Letter Writing and Essay Writing. Exam Time: There will be 155 multiple choice questions and 2 written questions in this exam. Work of a Bank PO- Planning, budgeting, marketing, loan processing and approval, investment management, and so on. Passing a cheque, draft issuance, cash management, and so on. A Bank PO's job also includes managerial responsibilities such as overseeing clerical work, making decisions for the bank's behalf, and maintaining cash balances, among other things.
