An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally qualified tax practitioner having technical understanding in the subject of taxation (EA). He has been granted authority to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) by the US Department of the Treasury (Internal Revenue Service). You'll be able to file tax returns, represent clients in front of the IRS with unrestricted representation privileges, appeal for clients in front of the IRS, and advise clients on tax implications based on their business transactions as an enrolled agent.
An enrolled agent is someone who has gained the right to represent taxpayers in front of the IRS by passing a three-part comprehensive IRS exam covering individual and business tax forms, or by having previously worked for the IRS.
