The Chartered Accountancy course culminates in the CA Final. Students who pass this stage become members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and may use the abbreviation Group I and Group II compete in the CA Final. There are four subjects in each category.

There are eight topics to be studied, divided into two classes of four 100-point papers each.

If attempting both groups or all the papers of a single group, a student must achieve a minimum of 40% in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in all the papers of both groups if attempting both groups, failing which the student must reappear in all the papers of that group/groups.
