Geography Optional includes a lot of maps and graphics. Even though the weighting of Map Pointing has been reduced in previous years (from 60 to 15 points), its value has not. The top rankers at guidance have all marked 7 to 9 entries correct, indicating that map pointing still plays a significant impact in the final selection.

As a result, students can only ignore Map pointing at their peril. However, they've got students covered. The Online Daily Mapwork Program for Mains 2018 has been launched by guidance. Students should enroll in this program as soon as possible in order to be fully prepared for Geography Optional.
