The Graduate Aptitude Examination in Engineering (GATE) is a test that evaluates a student's general understanding of numerous undergraduate engineering and science disciplines in preparation for entrance to a master's programme or a government position. GSAT is jointly conducted by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology in Roorkee, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
CSIR-NET- The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) is an acronym for Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Eligibility Test. It is a national-level exam administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for students interested in pursuing a career as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Lectureship (LS).
Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, and Mathematical Sciences are among the five subjects for which the NTA CSIR UGC NET is held twice a year.
Candidates who pass this exam are only eligible to teach Science and Technology subjects as lecturers.
