The joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE-Main), formerly known as the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). These Introduced in 2002 and renamed in April 2013 for admission to several undergraduate engineering and architecture degrees at several institutes, including National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and National Institutes of Science and Technology (NISTs).

Exam Format

Only Computer Based Tests will be used for B.E./B. Tech. (Paper 1) Physics, Chemistry, and Math, parts 1, 2, and 3, respectively.
Parts 1 and 2 of the B. Arch (Paper 2) math and aptitude tests will be conducted entirely on computers. On the drawing sheet, the Drawing Test or part 3 will be in offline mode.
