The fields of study are related to health protection, health improvement and as well as research methodologies and health service provision. Students will need to learn by conducting independent research and by participating in the work of the 7 divisions of the CUHK JC School of Public Health and Primary Care. MPhil and PhD programmes are articulated, which means that students can, with Division approval, transfer from the MPhil to the first (pre-candidacy) part of the PhD, and vice-versa.

Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have completed a bachelors degree with second class honors in upper division
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Submit GMAT/GRE scores
- Submit two reference letters
- Submit a statement of purpose refelecting goals of doing Mphil in the particular program
- Submit a research proposal to plan your research goals
- Submit a copy of your previous research work
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL : minimum 79 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- GMAT: verbal band of 21
