The program is designed for students who aspire to become high-caliber professionals in aeronautical and aerospace industries in the Pearl-Delta Region and beyond. The curriculum is designed to train students to design, analyze and test aeronautical and aerospace vehicles and associated technology. Graduates would typically expect to work in the major aircraft or aerospace service companies or manufacturers, such as Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited (HAESL), Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO), Cathay Pacific, Zhuhai Aeronautical Company (joint venture between China and Germany), etc., managing the design, maintenance or modification of an aircraft or an aerospace system, or even as pilots.
