- The Russian program serves primarily to train Russian teachers in secondary schools. Thus, the subject focuses on the Russian language, literature and geography, as well as the science of teaching Russian.
- The program provides language skills and structured knowledge for basic secondary fields that are particularly relevant to school: linguistics, literary studies, and cultural studies. It will equip students with the linguistic and didactic prerequisites to successfully teach in secondary schools.
- If Students combine a Two-subject Bachelor whose admission is open with one whose is restricted, the deadlines are: Winter semester: June 1 - July 15 and Summer semester: December 1 - January 15.

- Students need to German language certificate: DSH-2.
- Certificates that are recognized as being equivalent to the German Abitur allow for direct admission to the university. Like the German Abitur, Students’ certificates may allow applying for any subject, or students may be restricted to certain subjects.
