Key concerns within the degree of English-Speaking Cultures/English are the English language and its expansion and diversification in its historical and cultural context. Moreover, reflections on the role and various ways of representation of local literature and cultures in the context of representation, process and critical engagement with the imperial past and the postcolonial present of transatlantic and global historical spaces in the English-speaking world across various media constitute an important part in the program.
Tuition Fees
University does not charge tuition fees from the candidates. Candidates need to pay 387USD per semester as registration fees.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Certificate of German proficiency.
- Certificate of English proficiency according to level C1 of the European reference scheme for language skills for non-native speakers.
