Ques. Which course is better: B. Commerce Hons or BA Economics Hons from DU?

● Top Answer By Divjot Bagga on 06 Oct 22

Ans. The answer to this question will rely on your future goals, what you compassionately dream of doing, and what you believe you will truly like. However, Economics Honors from DU is one of the best courses with exceptional scope and value in the corporate world. Everyone is aware that the University of Delhi's most prestigious course is Economics Hons. Rapidly rising cutoffs provide proof of this.  Additionally, compared to other courses, it offers higher placement prospects. Nevertheless, immense power entails great responsibility. It's not the kind of subject you can get by with just one night of studying. It necessitates commitment and diligence. Additionally, it is the most challenging course the university offers. So, BA Economics is the best option for anyone who is keenly interested in the subject.  BA Economics(Hons) is DU's most difficult yet prestigious course. As a result, if you are in the unreserved category, you will need a higher percentage. Try to get a score of 90% or higher to get into DU, and 95% or higher to get into DU's good colleges. In the end, it all comes down to your score.Read more

● Top Answer By Kashish Yaduvanshi on 31 Mar 23

Ans. Some basic details of the BCom program from SRM Institute of Science and Technology are  Particulars  Data Duration 3 years Course Level UG Degree Total Tuition Fees INR 3.90 Lakh Total Seats 130 Qualification  12th CBSE Entry Criteria 50%  Candidates must have passed in 10+2 (Accountancy & Commerce Mandatory) with mentioned marks from any recognised board. Median CTC  INR 2.5 Lakh Highest CTC  INR 41.6 Lakh Top Recruiters  ACCENTURE | Biocon | canon | DATA PATTERNS | GODREJ | HONEYWELL | just dial | Samsung | Tech Mahindra Some more details about the University are Infrastructure : The college has decent infrastructural facilities with great importance to sports and extracurricular activities Academics : Honestly, this is where the Institute lacks. The staff delivers robotic knowledge without any lively classroom discussions making the learning experience monotonous. Placements : The placement cell of the college works pretty hard to maintain a decent placement scenario and students with good academic performance usually get good packages.  ROI: Another aspect I feel one should consider is the ROI which is low in case of SRM. The fees are extremely high in comparison to the academic standards but the surety of placements makes people choose it anyway. Campus Life : You get to experience amazing college life with lots of creative activities and new things to learn. Ultimately it’s you who decides whether a certain college is right for you or not, so do your part of the research and make a wise decision.Read more

Ques. What is the passing criteria for B.Com (H) year 1 SOl DU?

● Top Answer By Barsha Roy, on 22 Oct 21

Ans. The passing criteria is really low, achieving this will not be a problem. You have to score at least 33% in every subject, out of 75. If you successfully receive this score, you will clear your first year. If you scored lower than 33% in any one of the subjects, your promotion will be stopped. You then have to give ER (Essential Repeat) the following year, which is in your 2nd year. It is quite possible to give ER for only 4 subjects. If it was more than 4 then you will fail and have to repeat the year again.Read more

Ques. Which one is better: a PGDM-BKFS at TAPMI or a PGDM at Great Lakes Institute of Management?

● Top Answer By Himani Chaudhary on 09 Mar 23

Ans. If you're interested in TAPMI's BFSI-oriented course, it would be a good idea to speak with seniors of that particular program for more information. However, if you're considering TAPMI's PGDM program in general, it is a pretty good option. Great Lakes Chennai's PGDM program is relatively new, but it's already picking up momentum. The average salary package for its second batch was around 8.75 lakhs, and companies like Coke, Airtel, Lava, Snapdeal, Amazon, HDFC, Axis, Kotak, and many others recruited from the program. It's important to note that placements are just one aspect to consider when selecting a program. Great Lakes Chennai also boasts some of the best faculty and infrastructure in India, making it a great choice for those seeking a high-quality education. Overall, it's important to research and considers all aspects of a program when deciding where to pursue your MBA, including the course offerings, faculty, infrastructure, and placement opportunities.Read more

Ques. I got admission (PGDM) opportunities from IIM Rohtak and IIM Udaipur! Should one go or sit for CAT again this year? Any suggestions?

● Top Answer By Sidhant Unnithan on 10 Jan 23

Ans. Sitting for CAT again is honestly not a very easy decision. So I will suggest you go for IIM Rohtak itself. This decision will be beneficial under the following circumstances  If your past academic performance is not really good. This is because the older IIMs lay emphasis on past academics too much which in reality cannot be changed. So why risk a year when the chances are nearly zero? If you already have 2 or more years of experience, it’s better you don’t forgo the opportunity. If you are interested in domains like Finance or Marketing, it’s better to join now. This is because working too much in the IT field limits your chances of getting into Finance and Marketing. So based on these points you can come up with a decision that’s best for you. Just remember that despite being new, IIM Rohtak belongs to the IIM family which in itself is a brand.Read more
