Founded in 1967, Sheridan has grown from a local college of 400 students to one of Ontario's leading postsecondary institutions, educating approximately 22,500 full-time and 18,500 continuing and part-time studies students every year on three campuses in three Ontario cities — Oakville, Brampton and Mississauga.

College has seven campuses: Barrie, Orillia, Owen Sound, Midland, Muskoka, South Georgian Bay and Orangeville. Barrie is the main campus. 


Library

The library at Davis campus provides a pool of resources to the students and faculties. These resources include journals, publications, e-books etc. The total library resources across the campuses range to 724,000+ with 87.8% being electronic.

Georgian offers a variety of housing options to students – from on-campus residences (Barrie, Orillia and Owen Sound campuses) to off-campus apartment buildings, room and board, and houses to rent or share. Georgian offers a number of different food options. Barrie, Orillia and Owen Sound campuses offer multiple restaurants and meal plans. Many food vendors also accept the Georgian ONEcard. All seven campuses are in cities offering bus service to Toronto. All of those cities offer local public transit. Students have access to various services like health services, counselling services, advisory services etc.
