Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

H.S.C. (10+2) or its equivalent Examination with English with any three science subjects such as physics. Chemistry, Mathematics, etc.
Three Years Diploma Course after S.S.C. i.e. 10th Standard, or Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.

Completed HSC with minimum 50% aggregate score (40% for reserved category candidates) under the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or equivalent awarding body with English and PCM/ PCB.
Candidates who have studied Inter Agriculture along with Physics, Chemistry, and English are also eligible to apply.
Candidates who have not studied Biology in the 10+2 level must take deficiency courses as specified by the respective university.
Applicants should have qualified MHT-CET. Alternatively, a valid score in JEE, NEET, or AIEEA-UG is also acceptable.

Admission to all Agriculture and Allied courses is on the basis merit in entrance test and qualifying examination with a weightage of 70% and 30% respectively.
Of the total intake capacity, 80% is filled by MCAER on the basis of merit and the remaining 20% is filled through management quota by respective colleges.
Candidates have to select the college at the time of counseling.
