Yes, you can apply if you are in the final year of under graduation. You should submit your previous semester mark sheets. Final semester mark sheets should be submitted as soon as the results are announced. If you have any backlog or if you fail to graduate, you won't be eligible for admission.

What does the ITMI written admission test cover and how should I prepare for it?

The admission test covers a) General Awareness (objective, mostly multiple-choice) b) LanguageAbility (objective, many of them multiple-choice) c) Written Expression (subjective, analytical writing).Applicants will be evaluated on the use of language, ability to follow instructions in a logical way,reasoning ability, response to given situations, and awareness of recent events/incidents. As asuggestion, however, applicants are expected to be generally aware of the world around them.Everything else is more or less a test of suitability for a communication career. Questions may coversome media-related topics, but only those that are part of common knowledge.

How should I prepare for the ITMI admission interviews?

The objective of the entire ITMI admission process is to evaluate an applicant's scope to be a goodcommunicator and a communication professional, not to testtheirpre-eminence in it. Notknowing much about the media or about communication will not hamper your chances at all.However, the interviews will evaluate how well you do whatever you do.For example, if you sayyou are a cricket player, you should be able to substantiate it. If you say you are interested in philately,you should be able to converse about the history of stamps.
