GMERS Medical College & Hospital offers Under Graduate M.B.B.S Course for the duration of 5 years and 6 months i.e. 9 semesters and 1 year of Internship. The study period is divided into four phases – Pre-clinical, Para-clinical, Clinical, Post-examination.

The candidates who have completed 17 years of age on December 31, 2020 are eligible for admission.
The candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination with minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology from either Gujarat Board; or Central Board of Secondary Education, the school shall be located in the State of Gujarat; or The Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations Board, New Delhi, however, the school shall be located in the State of Gujarat.
Relaxations in the qualifying examination are provided to Physically Challenged candidates and reserved categories as per Gujarat Government rules.
The candidate shall have qualified NEET examination.
The admission committee will prepare and publish the merit list according to their rules and regulations.
The merit list shall be displayed on the official website.
The selected candidates are required to appear for the admission counselling as per the prescribed date, time and venue.

GMERS Medical College provides 100% student placement in civil hospitals. The students are required to do a 1 year compulsory internship in the respected hospitals which are linked with college itself.
The students receive a stipend of minimum INR 10,000 per month which increases on a monthly basis. The faculty helps the students to prepare for the placements by providing proper training and assessment tests.
