Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA) University is a Deemed University located at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. SOA University was reaccredited by NAAC with an 'A++' grade. In 2021, SOA was ranked 37th in India by latest NIRF ranking. It offers different courses at UG and PG level in the following fields: Engineering, Medical, Dental, Law, Management, and Pharmacy. The university also offers Ph.D. in the same fields. Admission to all the courses is based on the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT) conducted by the university itself. It is an MCQ based test and is conducted in different constituent institutes/schools of the university. Candidates who will be shortlisted based on the SAAT score are called to attend open counselling for admission into various programs of the university.

About SAAT Entrance: The exam lasts 120 minutes and the test is programmed to end at the stated duration. Every question has 4 answer options. Every correct answer gets 4 marks. 1 mark is deducted for a wrong answer.
Students can appear for any of the SAAT entrance centers such as, Odisha, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, West Bengal, Assam, Telangana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh.
The SOA University Campus no. 3 hosts the Faculty of Medical Sciences (Institute of Medical Sciences & SUM Hospital) for MBBS Program.
Faculty of Dental Sciences (Institute of Dental Sciences) for BDS Program. The former is recognized by the Medical Council of India and the latter is recognized by the Dental Council of India. Both Institutes are recognized by the University Grants Commission. The admission procedure will most likely start in August or September.
Students are selected based on the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by the university. Those with a valid score in NEET are given exemption from the test.

Ques. How can I download my admit card at SOA Bhubaneswar?
Ans. SAAT 2021 Admit card will be directly sent to the candidate on his/her registered email ID, around a month before the examination date. Candidates will be required to carry the printout of admitting card to the examination centre, along with valid identity proof for the purpose of verification.
