Some of my friends studied at UIT RGPV. According to them, there is not much difference because the syllabus of both branches is pretty similar. Only a few subjects are different. Here I will be providing some facts which might give you a clear picture.

A CS degree isn't required for an IT professional, but it can open doors that might otherwise be closed to you.
IT workers usually work in a business environment, setting up internal networks and computer systems, as well as programming.
Computer Scientists operate in a variety of settings, including enterprises, universities, and video game design studios.
