Established in 1913, Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics is one of oldest and most reputed colleges in India and has always been a unique educational institution for a reason that it has been the first Commerce College in the Asian Continent. The Sydenham is quite popular for offering its commerce education in a variety of courses such as B.Com, BBI, BMS and other vocational courses in the foreign trade in the duration of 3 years. However, admission to these programmes is strictly done via the merit lists prepared by the college itself based on the merits obtained by the students in their 10+2 level examination.

The Candidates willing to seek admission in the college can apply through online as well as offline mode. The institute provides admission for UG and PG courses based on the admission criteria.
How to Apply?
- The Application Form is released on the official website of the institute.
- Applicants need to fill the pre admission form with all scanned copies of the document.
- Submit the filled form through online mode and take out the Xerox Copy of filled form and submit it to the college.
- No fees are charged for the pre-admission form.
- Candidates are selected on the basis of their qualifying marks.
- Once, the admission is confirmed the candidates need to submit their admission fees to the institute.

- An attested photocopy of XII marks sheet, transfer certificate/ leaving certificate.
- An attested photocopy of Migration Certificate in case of the candidates who belong to other states.
- The candidates who belong to Boards other than Maharashtra Board are required to fill up the forms for Eligibility at the time of admission in the college itself.
