Bachelor of Dental Surgery [BDS] From SIMATS, Chennai

Candidates are selected on the basis of the Entrance Exam conducted by the University. The Entrance Exam will comprise of 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs).

The duration of this exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes. Questions will be asked from Physics (40 questions), Chemistry (40 questions), Biology (20 questions) and Analytical Reasoning (50 questions) based on Plus two (State Board) and CBSE syllabus. All questions will carry one mark.

There is no negative marking.

The exam is held only at the following centres: Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad and New Delhi.

Saveetha University BDS Application Process

Candidates can obtain the Application form in 3 ways:

1. In person, by paying through a Demand Draft for Rs. 1000 taken in favour of “Saveetha University”, payable at Chennai 
2. By post, by sending a requisition letter and a Demand Draft for Rs. 1050 taken in favour of “Saveetha University”, payable at Chennai

How to apply Online

• Candidates can download the Application form from the website http://www.saveetha.com/.
• Fill in the Application form with the required details. The application form should be filled in block letters in your own handwriting using blue/black ball pen. Affix a recent passport size photograph in the spaces provided in the application form.
• Candidates must attach a Demand Draft for Rs. 1000 taken in favour of “Saveetha University”, payable at Chennai
• Candidates must send the final Application Form along with the necessary enclosures to the following address:

• Mark list of HSC/10+2 or its equivalent
• Entrance Examination hall ticket
• Conduct Certificate from the institution last studied
• Transfer Certificate from the institution last studied

• Community Certificate
• Eligibility Certificate from this university
• Migration Certificate (if necessary)
• Certificate of extracurricular activities
• Four Passport size and Three Stamp size photographs
• Nationality Certificate and Copy of Passport and Visa (Foreign Students only)
