KUHS BHMS : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The DPMHMC Ernakulam maintains a faculty-student ratio of either 1:8 or 1:30, featuring 31 to 50 faculty members for approximately 300 students. The faculty is noted for being well-qualified and supportive, aiding students academically and in extracurricular activities. The college administers four exams annually, with a high pass rate of around 80%, surpassing other homoeopathic colleges under KUHS. A comprehensive one-year internship follows the final exams, offering placements at the college hospital, Government Homeopathic Hospital Kurichy, and the National Homoeopathic Research Institute in Mental Health, Kottayam. Interns engage in patient care across various departments and receive a monthly stipend of either 22,000 or 23,000 INR, though payments may be delayed. The internship includes a 3-month placement at a central research institute, 3 months at a government hospital, and 6 months at the college hospital, along with seminar classes and case discussions. The annual tuition for general category students is 1,260 INR, while SC/ST students pay 100 INR. Additional expenses include a PTA fund of 20,000 INR and other fees totaling around 5,000 INR. Scholarships like the E-grant, MCM, AYUSH, Vidyasaarathi, and NSDL help cover tuition, exam fees, and provide a monthly allowance for hostel residents. OBC students and those from low-income families may receive scholarships covering special and exam fees. District merit scholarships are also available. For students entering through management seats in government-controlled colleges, initial fees range from 3 to 15 lakh INR, with subsequent fees matching those of merit-based students.
