(10+2) or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent. He/She should have secured a minimum 50% Aggregate. All SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate.

Admission to the B.A. (Hons.) English course will be done through a Combined Aptitude Test for English (CATE), to be held under the aegis of the Department of English, University of Delhi/ based on merit and percentage of best four subjects in 12th standard.
