Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management Scholarships

LBSIM, being one of the best business colleges in India, provides financial support for the candidates who cannot afford the fees for the courses. It has scholarship programmes for the students admitted to the PGDM General course and PGDM Finance course in their first and second years.

• The scholarship is awarded on a Merit Cum Means method, which implies that a meritorious student, who ranks in the college and has financial problems should be compensated through the scholarship.
• The LBSIM scholarship is awarded to a total of 5 students.
• Four scholarships are awarded under Lalita Shastri Scholarship and one scholarship is awarded under Manuj Chopra Scholarship.
• The students are awarded a sum of INR 50,000 each.
• The students are selected based on various criteria. First, their family background and financial records are checked.
• The candidate’s academic records are also checked to see if they’re worthy of the scholarship.
• After all the details are checked, they call the applicant and award them the scholarship.

LBSIM Facilities

The Institute has a state-of-the-art infrastructure with well-equipped academic and administrative buildings. Given below are the details for the same:

• Library: The Institute has one of the well-equipped libraries in terms of resources and facilities. There are a total of 42,000 books, 133 print periodicals, and 4154 online periodicals. The library has also subscribed to electronic resources like EBSCO, EMERALD, SAGE, CRISIL Research Database, etc. The library is Double Floored and is among the best stocked management library in Delhi. 
• Auditorium: It has a seating capacity of 300 persons with 8000 projectors along with Wi-Fi connectivity. It also has an ultra-modern sound and lighting system to make the event more convenient for students and faculty members. The hall is utilised for organising Conferences, TEDx Talks and Student Functions. 
• Computer Center: Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management has a computer center with 20 access points for 24*7 internet connectivity. The lab has more than 100 computers with the latest software. 
• Hostels: The Institute has signed a partnership with an outside agency to provide accommodation to both male and female students. The hostels are fully equipped with all the necessary amenities for the students. It includes Wi-fi connectivity, a transportation facility, air-conditioned rooms, twin-sharing rooms, etc. 
• Entrepreneurship & Incubation Cell (EIC): LBSIM Entrepreneurship & Incubation Cell (EIC) has partnered with IIM Lucknow - Noida EIC for entrepreneurial excellence and providing funding opportunities to new start-ups.
• Bloomberg Labs: The institute has a Bloomberg Lab with 20 Trading Terminals. It is the very best in Delhi.
• Analytics Labs: The analytic lab at the institute has 100+ Terminals with IBM SPSS, SAS Enterprise etc for the students. 
• Audi Lecture Halls: The institute has 10+ Halls with Smart Multimedia (Projector & Audio System) for conducting lectures.
