The 2023 MP Counselling cutoff rank for the Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) at NIIST was 925893 for the OBC category. While In 2021 the cutoff rank was 521841 .
Aspirants seeking admission to the program must have passed 10+2 with science stream subjects (PCM) from a recognized board with minimum 45% for Gen. category and 40% for OBC(except creamy layer) /SC/ST (Only M.P Domicile candidates).
Part time is also available in this course. in amount Rs. 40,000 per year and seat intake 60.
Eligibilty:
The Candidate who fulfills the following requirements is eligible for admission to the Four years (Part-Time) Bachelor of Engineering Degree Course.
(i) He should have passed the Diploma Examination with 45% aggregate marks for Gen. Category and 40% (SC/ST & Physically handicapped) category from the M.P. Board of Technical Education or from any other Board recognized as “equivalent” by The three-year diploma from the Board to Technical Education.
(ii) He is in paid employment in a supervisory position after passing the Diploma Examination in the Central / State Govt. Department. The public of Private Sector Undertaking located in M.P. or self-employed having his organization in M.P. registered under the Firms and Society Act and engaged in production/ maintenance. Persons working on daily wages or trainees are not eligible for admission.
(iii) He is sponsored for the completed course in that branch of Engineering in which he did his diploma and is working in the supervisory position.
