Mount Royal University offers the only Bachelor of Communication Studies with a major in Broadcast Media Studies available in western Canada.Develop the technical skills and theoretical understanding to produce professional, engaging audio and video content for a variety of audiences. Take advantage of state-of-the art video production facilities and an online radio station, while learning to write and produce commercials, news, documentaries, podcasts, advertising, corporate video and reality television.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Admission is competitive. Applicants must meet both the competitive admission average for the specific program and present specific required courses with the minimum required grades. In addition to meeting general admission requirements, admission to the Bachelor of Arts requires the following specific high school courses (or equivalents).Applicants in all admission categories must present:
- English Language Arts 30-1 – minimum grade 60%
- Mathematics 30-1 or 30-2 – minimum grade 60%
