Research powerhouse. Quality of faculty. Location. High probability of practical experience through university facilitated internships.

Course Curriculum

8

First-year courses were extremely difficult. Idea is to filter out students not competent.

Exams

Filling an engineering portfolio. Transcripts of high school, resume, etc. could be uploaded. No LORs required. Asynchronous video interview answering critical thinking questions. Good grades translate to a greater chance of admission. Good grades along with extracurriculars translate to a greater chance of scholarship upon admission.

Placement

10

I hear they are exceptional. A UofT degree is the most coveted across Canada.

Internship

Next year.

Events

7

Great!

Scholarship

Engineering admission scholarship. Amount up to CAD 10000. No application process.

Faculty

9

The ratio is somewhere around 10:1 for engineering (don't quote me on this). There exist two ends of the spectrum when it comes to professors. There are those that memorize each student's names in a class of 100. And some who walk in teach and walk out without further ado.

Hostel

8

Yes. Chestnut residence. Luxurious living space. Food is a bust.
