I chose UofT because it is in the heart of the city which is very convenient especially for international students as you don't need to travel too long to get to the airport. I also chose it because it has a great ranking and is in the top universities of the world

Course Curriculum

8

Course curriculum and academics are very well designed and research-oriented. There are lots of great opportunities available for students in terms of work positions, volunteer positions in labs, etc, especially for science students.

Exams

For my application, I included a CV, an SOP, and two to three LORs and filled out whatever else was in the application. In my CV I wrote about my extracurricular activities and volunteer work. For the SOP I stated why I was interested in joining Life Sciences at UofT

Placement

9

There are very good opportunities after studies if you are able to network and can get connected to the right people. I have heard from senior students that most UofT graduates easily get employed

Events

Campus life is amazing, there are lots of clubs for everyone to take part in. Lots of libraries with quiet floors as well as floors where people can book rooms and study there with friends. The WiFi connection is very good and has never been a problem for me

Fees

50000

Scholarship

No

Faculty

Faculty are very well educated and talented. Some of their work is just mind-blowing and I feel grateful to be a part of this prestigious university. They are very friendly and always there to help and clear doubts

Hostel

Yes, I live on campus. You can choose from a wide variety of accommodation. This year I had a single room and pay 14,000$. The rooms are decent and there are common spaces on the floors of the building to hang out with friends.
