Couldn't get into the RN program because it was way too competitive so I decided to start small and then do a bridge program to become an rn, I found out about this collage through a friend who was already going here before me, this was the only collage I applied too, my marks were good but not up to the competitive average for rn nursing
Course Curriculum
It's really good and easy and straight forward and I love the hands on stuff
Exams
Only program that was easy to get into and wasn't competitive like RN, my marks are in the high 85-90, there are a lot of people in the lpn program because this is the only school that offers lpn in Alberta to my knowledge, There aren't any major or super hard prerequisites and I got in pretty fast
Placement
I'm pretty sure NorQuest helps the nurses get jobs and the average pay for lpn is 25 which isn't the greatest as we do the most work and the gap between lpn and rn is growing narrow but the pay gap is still fairly large
Internship
I'm not entirely sure yet because I'm still in first year but I have heard of students being placed in various hospitals while their in school, I'm not sure if they pay but It would make sense that they would
Events
We have various events for people of different religions and for holidays
Fees
The regular tuition fee for Canadian students is $13k which is fair and it'll be easy to pay for and my parents are paying for it so I don't need any loans, I haven't applied for any scholarships yet but I will start applying. However the fee for international Students is $40k and I'm happy and lucky that I don't have to pay that much

I haven't applied for any scholarships yet and my parents have paid for my school
Examination Structure
Exams are very easy
Faculty
Lots of the the teachers have phds which is really nice and I love the notes we get because their easy and straightforward and makes the exams very easy to pass
Hostel
I live with my parents so I don't have to pay for anything, I sill be living with them till I get married and I haven't faced any challenges yet. The only challenge is getting school as I don't drive to school but with the new lrt expansion it will make going to school very easy
