I searched all the best schools and I found NAIT on top. I did graduation from India in sciences and decided to pursue further studies in Canada. I heard a lot about NAIT that most of the students got placements in different industries from NAIT. I checked all the requirements and luckily I fulfilled all those requirements and finally got admission.

Exams

I like study of chemicals. To get in this program, math, physics, chemistry is important and IELTS score should not be less than 6 in each module and must have above 70% in grade 12. In graduation degree, there should be at least 70% marks to get easy placed. At NAIT there are about 30 students in my batch and in each semester we have 24 credits.

Placement

After school, we can be hired by different industries like suncor, dow Chemicals, enbridge and other companies depending upon the scores and experience. The minimum score for better placement should be 60% or above.

Internship

In summer, we students got two week placement in our field related industries. This experience helps us a lot. For those two weeks, we had 8 hour shift and we had specific jobs to perform. We gained much experience. This was an great opportunity for us. We were placed by our instructors and that placement was not paid.

Fees

For international students, $9151 is the fee per student which is quite high as compared to tuition fee $3000 of Canadian students. After getting a GPA above 3.5 out of 4, international students can apply for scholarships but the maximum which they can get is $1000. I got $1000 after my first semester.

Faculty

Instructors are very helpful and they have deep knowledge of their courses. Teachers cooperate with us. Every week we have one quiz for each course which helps us to prepare for our final exams.
