Academic Excellence. It is rated one of Canada's best schools. The student life is also awesome. It also gives me the best shot to enter medical school coming from a renowned university like the University of Toronto.
Course Curriculum
It is absolutely amazing. Multiple options for major and specialization. Covers both the sciences and the humanities. There is also hands-on experience with internship opportunities for students in the 4th year.
Fees
There is set tuition for each department. Unfortunately, it is expensive and we do get charges for a lot of things we don't even utilize.
Examination Structure
There are exams every 2 weeks and then a cumulative final for most courses. Assignments are less common in my major but often involve research papers if there do happen to be any assigned. Most classes will offer participation grades as well.
Faculty
Faculty is no doubt some of the greater. I imagine it's not easy finding employment at UofT. Most professors have worked multiple years in their field before opting to teach.
