It was close to home (I came from the GTA area) and a prestigious school, I also want to pursue 2nd entry in Nursing which is the best at the University of Toronto St. George. A lot of my friends also went to schools in Toronto (Ryerson and York), The other schools I applied for were McMaster and Western, which are great schools and programs as well, but not ranked as high as the University of Toronto.

Course Curriculum

9

The course curriculum for health studies is good as a prep for post-grad programs. Most people go on to do masters programs or pursue other programs where health studies can be applied such as the Dalla Lama School of Public Health or UofT Nursing.

Fees

I pay around $8000 a year, you can take up to 12 courses a year if you take less, the tuition fee does not decrease (same as if you drop anything). There are also lots of surcharges (roughly $800-900) to support campus clubs.

Examination Structure

For Science courses it is usually multiple choice, for health studies courses there is often no exam, but rather a final project, and if there is an exam it is almost always a short/long answer or an essay question.

It's good, I've never had any major issues.
