I got recommended by the parent's accountant. Learned qualities of school, close to the home small city can be independent cheap to live in good. The application took classes that I took in high school. I did pretty well in high school. Knew I wanted to go to this school. I didn't want to go to a post-secondary school that was too big.
Course Curriculum
It's good. Business degrees require to take intro to all business classes.
Exams
High school diploma exams. Like la 30 social 30 math, 30-2 and other classes like I took in high school like chem 30 Chinese 30 and gym 30. I believe the minimum overall average you need is 65% combined for all your high school classes plus a high school English. Also all the diplomas you need to take to pass all your other classes.
Placement
Every semester we do have a career fair that sees many companies for all around southern Alberta to give the student a bit of insight on what a job after university is going to look like and maybe an offer if they are lucky.
Internship
In the business faculty, I know UofL offers semester-long co-ops that get students into the workforce in their specific major. I bet if you look hard enough there will be something in terms of a campus job.
Events
Fresh fest begging of the year, last class bash end of the year, lots of indigenous days.
Fees
I know my tuition every semester is around $3000 give or take. I didn't have to use student loans because my parents use a third-party site that allows them to put away money for my university living. I bet there is lots of scholarship if someone was to just look if you searched up UofL scholarships.
Scholarship
No
Examination Structure
Multiple-choice, short answer, long answer/ essay, true or false, differs among profs.
Faculty
In the business faculty it's a little male-dominated but not much I would say 60-40 male to female. The teaching styles are different between profs but good for undergraduate.
Hostel
The first-year I lived on campus because I wanted to get adjusted to university life it was great lots of people you meet. Then years after that I moved off campus because it got expensive in terms of meals and rent and lost of my friends did it also.
