I loved the campus and the town of Kingston. When I looked around the town it felt like a place that could be home. Everyone was friendly and the area is beautiful. I thought the school reflected that too.
Course Curriculum
I think the curriculum feels heavy at times but it provided a lot of learning opportunities. The courses allowed for many types of work to be worked on as well as some opportunity for creativity.
Placement
I had a great time in my placement and was able to build connections in the community. I find that the job opportunities are very lacking. It's been almost a year since graduation and only a handful have been able to find work in our field.
Fees
In addition to tuition there was charges for supplies, materials, and printing. I don't recall exact numbers but it certainly isn't cheap. Having to constantly buy our own supplies for projects can add up as well.
Examination Structure
We didn't really have exams in graphic design. We mostly had final projects. I think the structure was fine though, sometimes it felt heavy but I found it to be manageable. It did feel like a lot of projects at once though.
Faculty
I think the faculty is great. You can really tell that the professors care about their students and our futures. The faculty has strengths in what they're teaching and they bring that knowledge to the classroom.
