Close to home. I commute from my house each day. The program also allows for me to choose what I would like to do. I would return for the teachers and professors. There was only one other option in the city.
Course Curriculum
The courses we had to take were varied. I only needed a couple but the rest was just to complete and degree and for the university to make money. We take music history classes which are useful though one was not.
Placement
Not great, there aren't any of those kinds of opportunities. There aren't placements within the university that correspond with classes. Could be a university/college thing. I don't know if they are helpful outside of school.
Fees
Standard university fees. There were two strikes in which we missed weeks of classes and got no compensation for it. We were charged an extra $600 for private lessons which makes sense. Hour long lessons were $1200 extra a year.
Examination Structure
Made sense. Some classes didn't have any because it was music. It's hard to test musical knowledge. The exams we did have were before the exam period which was nice. We had all of December and April off apart from our juries.
Faculty
I learned a lot from most of them. I learned mostly from my private teacher, band director and one other professor. Most other faculty were just my teachers for particular classes.
