I always wanted to study a business-related program as I come from a business family and I always wanted to have my own business. The place which I belong to in India is a very famous tourist destination so there are many opportunities, to begin with, your own business and then expand accordingly.
Course Curriculum
Unlike India we don’t have any books to cram, you’ll get pdf files, articles based on true events, and examples based on real-life scenarios which help a student to learn easily moreover practical knowledge is always helpful.
Exams
In order to get into this program you should have a background in business which I studied in my school days and I did a bachelor’s in Commerce from Himachal Pradesh University. An IELTS score of not less than 6.5 helps you get more preference as there are many applications in process. Business management also helps in enhancing entrepreneurial skills.
Placement
Accounts have been created, students are made to learn how to communicate in a professional way and explore their field of study to better understand what they actually want to pursue in the future.
Internship
No, I didn't get any Internship.
Events
To be honest, due to this covid, I didn’t get a chance to attend a single class on campus. I completed my first semester in India and for 2nd semester I moved to Canada which was also completed online.
Fees
Colleges have fewer fees as compared to universities and mine was around 8K per semester.
Scholarship
No, I didn't receive any scholarship.
Faculty
Teachers are very supportive here. You don’t feel any discrimination being made on the basis of marks you score, or communication skills that you have, if a person is determined to learn and explore new things he/she is always welcomed.
Hostel
Accommodations are available on sharing basis, private as well it depends from person to person and also on the money you’re willing to spend.
