  • Fanshawe's two-year Special Events Planning program can help students to gain all of the skills and experience to prepare them for an exciting career in a fast-paced industry that relies on client satisfaction. The curriculum, designed by industry professionals, will explore current trends and technologies that drive the industry.
  • Students will have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience planning, marketing, executing and evaluating events. As a student, they’ll also visit, collaborate and network with industry professionals working in the city's great state-of-the-art venues, including the London Convention Centre, Budweiser Gardens, The Western Fair District and leading hotels and sports venues.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • OSSD with courses from the College (C), University (U), University/College (M), or Open (O) stream with:
    • Any Grade 12 English (C) or (U)
    • Any Grade 11 or Grade 12 Mathematics (C), (U), or (M)
  • Applicants must have an Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE).
  • Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
  • Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission in this program.

Indian Student Eligibility: 

  • Students have a minimum of 4 major subjects in 12th Grade, including English, with an average of 70% and no course less than 65%.
  • Students have an Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE).

Other:

Applicants who lack the required Mathematics may still gain eligibility for admission by completing appropriate prior upgrading.
