This degree introduces students to Ecology: what is studied, how it is studied, and what are its strengths and limitations. Current ecological thinking will be covered, from the scale of individual organisms, through populations, and up to communities and ecosystems. Methods of study will be highlighted using evidence from molecular ecology through field investigations. This degree combines Ecology with learning about Education where students will also take four units of study in Education Studies.
