Macquarie University, Masters in Accounting

There are two specific reasons why I chose this particular university. First because of the course value and second because of the location. The course was not only challenging but it also tested a student in ways that enriched his knowledge base.

Course Curriculum

10

The course was well structured. It managed to keep the core accounting principles intact while introducing the importance of IT in this day and age. We had sixteen subjects and all of them were challenging in their own respect.

Exams

I had to undertake only an English exam called IELTS to undertake the course. I had scored a 7.5 band, while they required only a 6 bad score.

Fees

We were charged almost $30000 per year for a two-year program. I was also offered a scholarship of $3000 per year.

Examination Structure

The beauty of this course was that the exam structure and pattern were left to the faculty to decide. While some decided that a series of small tests would do the job, others felt a lengthy three hour written exam would be necessary.

Faculty

8

The faculty were not only well qualified but were perfectly equipped to handle students from varied backgrounds. The faculty ensured that each and every student was given equal opportunities to prove their worth.
