There were two teachers there that would supervise my thesis in the topic of my choosing. I also got the marks to get in (as it is quite competitive to get into Honours, I wasn't too picky), and it was online which meant I didn't have to move houses.
Course Curriculum
I think it was more practical than my Bachelor Psychology degree that was done at a different university. It included subjects more relevant to practicing psychology such as how to conduct motivational interviewing, and how to conduct a behavioural assessment.
Fees
It was a typical cost for an Australian government-funded university. It was around $7000 per year, but I could defer this payment and won't have to pay it back until I earn more money.
Examination Structure
The exams had a combination of multiple choice, short answer and long essay answer questions. They reflected what we learned well I think. There were also online quizzes and hand-in assignments - not just exams.
Faculty
It was good because I was able to present a speech on my thesis to a group within the faculty which was great practice for presenting at seminars. Apart from this, I don't really have an opinion.
