Because it was the only university in the city/area that I wanted to study in that offered the particular degree that I want to do! So basically it was due to the limited availability of the degree in the area.
Course Curriculum
The course curriculum for each unit that I am enrolled in is very accessible and incredibly easy to understand. It contains all requirements for the unit, expectations, and information on the assessment tasks.
Exams
The AST was the only exam that I was required to take in order to go to this university. I also had to participate in my class tests.
Fees
Australia has a thinker called HEX debt which means that the government pays for your university degree (like a student loan) and then you slowly play it off once you start working.
Examination Structure
The exam structure was quite confusing the first time since there are lots of different booklets (ie. answer booklet, question booklet, reference booklet) but after you do one or more than they become easy to understand.
Faculty
Most of them are incredibly supportive and encouraging mentors however there are a couple that are rude, undermining, defensive and set expectations of the students that are near impossible to meet.
