Caitlin Review at University Of South Australia [UNISA], Adelaide | Collegedunia

University with nice Placement Opportunities

10.0 /10

It had my course and good facilities.

Course Curriculum :

It's well structured and varied in different subjects. I think some subjects are structured a bit differently which is cool like Health is all online after week 4. I think this has its benefits but some disadvantages; like falling behind.

Exams :

I only took my Year 12 exams, no additional exams. But I got an atar of 95. The exams were done through SACE.

Placement :

Many placement opportunities for my course which I am very excited about. I think they will be confronting but I think it's great they are introducing them early so we get a feel for them early on, instead of just being chucked in the deep end when we graduate.

Internship :

I haven't had an internship.

Events :

Fair day, OT ball, lots of clubs that have events, pub crawls, O Week.

Fees :

They allow students to pay upfront or through HECS.

Scholarship :

No, I haven't.

Examination Structure :

I haven't had my exams yet but I know they are completed every semester and I think they prepare us well with numerous tests and quizzes that keep us up today on course work. Force us to study which is good.

Faculty :

I think they are very organized and passionate. I have met some very exciting tutors and lecturers that have completely engaged their students. I think that is so important for the first years. So well done there!

Hostel :

I live at home so this doesn't really apply to me. I like to balance study at uni and at work.
