As I aspire to become a doctor in the near future, I had to do a 3 year undergraduate course before actually going into a medical school. Flinders University offered me the course that I wished for and also had a 25% reservation for their undergraduates in their medical school

Course Curriculum

9

Because I have just completed my 1st year in this university, I found the Course Curriculum to be very student friendly and was made such that the students don't get so much burden at once. They have so far focused on building our basics in every subject so that it gets easier for us in the 2nd year.

Exams

The admission requirements were my 12th score and my IELTS score (minimum 6 in each section). My IELTS score was speaking 7, writing 6.5, reading 7, listening 7.5

Placement

9

The average post-study placement/research opportunities of my program are pretty good, students can work in research fields or can opt for a masters degree while working somewhere in the research field

Events

The campus is huge with so many extracurricular activities that keep taking place on the campus. They organise balls and parties for students so that they can interact with their fellow batch mates. They have a wide range of clubs, from sports to study groups that are very easy to get into. The university has 1 library for each faculty and 1 common hub with free wifi, some eating joints and a good place to sit and do your work or to just relax.

Scholarship

No

Faculty

9

The faculty is very cooperative and very supportive. They insist on asking any questions we have and make sure that all are queries are answered as soon as possible

Hostel

7

The university has its own student accommodation in the campus with single rooms and shared accommodation. It comes with a common dining room, kitchenettes with a shared oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, laundry and drying area, computer lab, small library/study room, fully equipped music room, sports court. The cost is quite expensive - AUD 358-398 per week with a advance deposit of AUD 756
